About

For acoustic, electric and bass guitars

Hey.... grab a magnifying glass and take a CLOSE look at your frets. Do the crowns have flat spots on them from fretting and string bending? Do you see really fine scratches on them? Maybe you see small grooves in the frets under the high E, B or G strings in frets 1 through 5. Do they appear to be lack-luster or dull. Do you get 'fret buzz' or do certain notes 'fret out' on frets higher up the fretboard when you play? A good fret leveling, recrowning and polishing with a fresh setup can really bring your guitars 'playablilty' back to life. Recrowning the frets not only improves intonation but also the sound of your guitar. With proper string to fret contact and frets polished to a fine smooth finish, your cherished guitar will play better than the day you bought it.
