Guitar necks that loose what I call central truss rod control, sometimes can be straightened or corrected. Central truss rod control is the ability of the truss rod adjustment to allow relief (up-bow) as well as straightening to a point of slight back-bow without extreme measures to acquire either. If the truss rod nut becomes too tight without straightening the neck or loosening the nut does not allow the neck to take a small amount of up-bow, it is possible to jig the neck to reacquire central truss rod control. Alignment refers to bolt on necks. If you notice one of your 'E' strings is not as well aligned with the neck as the other or 'falls off' the neck when your playing it, then alignment is in order. Sometimes bolt on necks need shimming at the neck to body joint in order to get proper action adjustments for setup. Services Performed:
