		When you purchase a guitar, new or used, take it home and play it for two weeks. Decide what kind and the size strings you are going to play on the guitar. Give new guitars time to 'settle in'. After all, it is wood, it's flexible and if it's factory fresh, it was most likely strung to pitch one time to test it and then downtuned from one half to a whole step for shipment. When you are ready, I will sit down with you and watch you play before your setup. This helps me adjust your guitar to your playing style. I will do a complete assessment of the guitar. After your new guitar is setup, I offer a subsequent adjustment that is included. It takes at least a few days to a week for a guitar to "resettle" from a setup, and you should not have to pay for that. (This offer is good for two weeks after you pick the guitar up.) Playing guitar should not hurt. Pushing strings to a fret takes getting used to but is quickly managed with a properly adjusted guitar. You can't see a few thousandths of an inch of adjustment on your guitar, but your hands can really feel it.

Appointments: All consultations are done by appointment. Please call in advance to schedule a consultation. Repair Pricing: I price setups and repairs based on a visual inspection of the guitar and talking with you. This way, I can make sure your desired repair will be complete and that any related adjustments and part replacements will be made accordingly.
