About

 For acoustic guitars

The first thing about bridge pins is take one out of your guitar, and make sure it is not plastic.....ugh! A bridge pin upgrade to a quality material enhances appearance, sustain and tone. If your pins are trying to disapear in the bridge, there is still hope. Custom sized bridge pins are easy to come by now and suppliers even cut them a little large in the standard tapers. If your pins sit too high or try to crawl out when you're tuning to pitch while installing a fresh set of strings, then the pin holes should be reamed to fit the pins.

First, you should determine the material you want for your new bridge pins.
There are generally two pin pitches, 3 and 5 degrees and they fit most guitars by brand. In some cases you will have to measure the pin and have them made. Check
here for a good selection of custom bridges pins.

                Services Performed:
                1. Remove strings, inspect bridge plate and pin holes for wear.
                2. True pin holes, fit and install new bridge pins.
                3. If pin holes are too small, ream pin holes and fit existing pins to pin holes.
                4. Re-cut string slots and adjust string slot to saddle angle (as needed).
